Construction Materials and Costs

Below is a list of equipment that will be used in the construction of the shopping mall.

Hydraulic excavator- these are diggers used during excavations, particularly useful when large quantities of digging is required. This equipment is used in the actual tasks of digging and loading. This equipment will be used in the initial stages, that is, the foundation preparation stage, that is, in the first one month only. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $53000.

Concrete Batching plant- they are designed for concrete mixing. It is particularly used when huge demands of concrete are required such as during a mall construction.. This equipment will start to be used at the start of the project to the end construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $40000.

Truck- they are going to be used for transportation of materials to and from the site, such as the transportation of soil away from the site, transportation of sand, gravel and cement to the site. Therefore this equipment will be in use during the entire twenty months of the project. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $ 20000

Concrete Pump- this equipment will be used to pump concrete mixed on the ground to various parts of the building especially at high floors construction. After ground preparation the concrete pump will start being used, that is after the first month. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $35200

Vibratory Compactor – this is a machine used to compact the earth during the initial ground preparations. After the soil is compacted the ground is compacted is ready for construction commencement. This machine will be in use during the first month only. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $70000

Tower Crane- The construction team utilizes the tower crane to raise steel, concrete, huge tools like generators, and acetylene torches, and a broad variety of other construction materials. They will start being used after commencement of constructing the first floor, which is the fourth month until the end of the project. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $100000.

Welding Machine- this machine is used for joining together the metals by welding them. This machine will be used from the first month to the end since welding is an activity that takes place throughout the project. This item could be procured from building construction companies or vendor construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $7000

Bending Machine-, they are used for bending metal, metal pipes and tubing at an angle-measure to make sure the correct degree of bend. This machine will be in use from the initial month to the end. This is because cutting metals and pipes is involved throughout the project. This item could be procured from building construction companies or vendor construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $80000

Transformer Ratio Test Kit- the TTR is particularly used for testing power transformer environments whereby testing of compound, three-phase power transformers testing could be performed speedily while minimizing the probability of errors. This equipment will be used at the final stages of construction during electrical installation, that is, during the twenty-third to twenty fourth month. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $10000
Spray Gun- this equipment is used for spraying both the interior and exterior parts of the building. This machine will be sued during the final stages of the project, that is, during the twenty-fourth month. This item could be procured from construction equipment vendors. Its approximate cost is US $2000.

The total cost of the equipment is approximated as US $672500
