Organismic organizations model

I find that my organization fits the organismic organizations model. This is because, firstly, the organizational largely cares about the employees and there is an understanding regarding their needs that have to be met for the organization to function properly. My organization has identified that by meeting the staffs’ social needs their morale doubles up and they become highly motivated.  The emphasis here is making jobs more important and getting individuals more drawn in their jobs. Secondly, my organizational is in the industry majorly relies on the inter-organizational relations which guarantees its survival in the sector. Additionally, my organizational so as to survive in this competitive industry mainly encourages innovation. However, I find my organization being in a somewhat mechanistic in nature, which is a little disadvantageous. Nevertheless, since it succeeds in the industry I think the mechanistic concept plays a small role.

As a manager, I think observing our organization from this perspective helps it survive in this sector and perform its operations correctly. Since treating staffs as humans by caring for their social needs greatly improve the company’s performance. Additionally, I think inter-organizational relations helps the organizations tackle the problems as an entity, which improves their survival in the business.

Through this metaphor, I have learnt that my organization is one of the best performing in terms of employee welfare and that it is going to sustain itself in the market through innovation practices along with positive inter-organizational relations. From the metaphor’s perspective, I think my role is being more innovative to enable my organization respond to the changing environments in this sector also foster inter-organizational relation in ways that I can. Additionally, I can encourage the abolishing of the mechanistic management model which negatively affects our organization though at minimal levels.
