For instance, a PV system producing 1.5 kilowatt will keep away carbon dioxide amounting to 110,000 pounds from the atmosphere and which is the major greenhouse gas (Altenergy, 2014). Solar power will also prevent the necessity to burn 60,000 pounds of energy producing coal. With solar energy the earth is guaranteed of the disappearance of acid rain, urban smog and pollution (Energy.Gov, 2014).
