I am currently working in Entertainment One, as the Head of the Marketing Division, which is regarded as one of the esteemed independent studio which has its presence globally, and specialized in thee improvement, production, acquisition, distribution, financing, sales, distribution, merchandising along with licensing of television, film, music, digital content and family (Entertainment One, 2019). People are recruited by posting the details of the requirements of this post in different social media platforms where the organization have their presence, along with in the other job searching portals within the region of Canada, for example, themuse.com and ca. indeed.com. Selection is made according to matching the criteria of the job requirement and qualifications of the candidate along with the other interview rounds. The candidate need to be passed in all the rounds, where experience plays a vital part in the overall recruitment and selection process. Only experienced candidates are hired in this division. The recruitment procedures followed by this organization is quite effective, as they have changed their recruitment process according to the changing trends of the market (Zaharie & Osoian, 2013).

Proper training and development are provided to the new recruitments of this organization. All the five stages of the training process, which are assess, motivate, design, deliver and evaluation are done effectively on the induction phases, where the new people are given the opportunities to learn the entire operations of Entertainment One or eOne. Evaluation tests are taken on weekly basis, which helps to evaluate the present situation of each of the new recruitments, which helps to change the training and development process, if required for any particular candidate. It is appropriate for the new people, as they are provided both off-job and on-job training methods, so that the new recruiters can start to earn some bucks in the training and development process only. It can be stated that marketing division is one of the flexible department in this organization, which helps the new people to showcase their talents along with their experiences to hold this particular position.

The performances are measured according to the target that are given to the individual employees by me. I am given a total target at the beginning of the month, which is divided with each of the employees in our division. Meeting as well as exceeding the targets are the main factors which are taken into account, along with other factors like attendance and behaviors with others. Performance feedback contributes a lot to motivation and high performance on this job, as this position provides businesses to the organization, on which the expansion of eOne depends a lot. Feedbacks are shared with the employees twice a month, which motivates the employees like us and helps to increase our productivity, which, ultimately, will increase the productivity of the organization (Mohrman & Lawler, 2017).
