It is essentially a critical compare and contrast paper:
Pick two of the philosophical traditions that we’ve discussed (i.e. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism) and identify an issue over which those traditions disagree.
Explain both sides of the disagreement and then argue in favor of the perspective that you find most persuasive.
In order to do this well, you need to clearly present the arguments in favor of both views, show that you understand how people might object to them, and explain how your preferred view can respond to those objections.
The paper should be 3 to 5 pages long, double-spaced, with 1″ margins on all sides, in an easily-readable 12-point font (Helvetica or Times New Roman preferred).
