Task One

This section should serve as the introduction to your paper. Like any academic paper you write, your introduction should preview the content that will follow. It is appropriate to introduce your instructional setting here, since this task focuses on challenges that may occur in your setting and asks you to create a lesson plan that may address the challenges you identify. You may attach your lesson plan as a separate attachment when you submit your work.

Learning Style and Motivational Challenges in the Instructional Setting

In this section, discuss challenges you may face in your setting. Per the direction, you must identify and discuss challenges related to student learning styles and/or learning preferences and student motivation. After you have identified these two separate categories of challenges, you will create a lesson plan that you believe addresses them. This lesson plan fulfills task part B.

Challenges Addressed in the Lesson Plan

In this section, describe how each of the above-mentioned challenges is addressed in the lesson plan. This is where you explain the deliberate design choices you made that you believe will allow the challenge to be minimized during the time this lesson is delivered using the attached plan. This discussion may include everything from objective selection, to prerequisite skill determination, to the actual instructional activities planned.

Justification of challenges addressed

In this section, justify why you believe your approach to addressing the challenges you described will be effective. Your justification must include both data (instructor observation, gradebook data, standardized test data, etc…) and instructional design principles. Rather there is an entire book that presents 200+ pages worth of principles that designers should consider. Data should come from your research about the profession and teacher observations.
