Bellagio is a resort, casino and luxury hotel in Las Vegas strip in Paradise, Nevada
operated and owned by MGM Resort International having been built on the site of the
demolished Dunes casino and hotel. It was inspired by Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy;
it is famed by its amenities and elegance. Its notable feature is 3.2ha (8 acres) lake between
the strip and the building that houses Bellagio fountain, a large dancing water fountain that is
music synchronized. The lobby ceiling is covered with hand-blown glass flowers (2,000 sq ft)
in Dale Chihuly and it is a home of aquatic production. Bellagio main tower has 3,015 rooms,
with 36 floors with 151m height (508ft) while spa tower has 935 rooms, 33 floors with 119m
(392ft) (Mattéoli, 2009).
Steven Wynn conceived the hotel and Mirage Resort Inc. his company built it, it was
designed by Atlandia and DeRuyter Butler design, its interior design were designed by Roger
Thomas. It employs approximately 8,000 people and has own the AAA Five Diamond Award
fourteen times which is the highest diamond ratings systems for lodgings and restaurant. It is
a member of the The Leading Hotel of the World and its main tower was remodelled in
December 2011(Mattéoli, 2009). It has a poker room where professional pokers prefer to play
from and it has partnered with World Porker Tour provides it with space to hold its
tournaments. It has high table limits including Big Game a high-stakes that is located in
Bobby Room and is frequented by poker pros.
The Bellagio fountain is a vast, choreographed water feature with performances that
are set to music and light. These performances take place infront of the hotel and are visible
from different strip vintage points. The fountain is set in 8acre manmade lake that is serviced
by fresh water well. It contains a Botanical and Conservatory Gardens in five seasonal
themes; Chinese New Year, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. During the any season,

colourful real fragrant flowers are displayed together with the fountain and located on the
lobby and open to the public(Gleeson, 2012).
Bellagio has exhibition space displaying arts from private collections and museums
and it presents intimate exhibitions that feature works by many worlds’ compelling artists.
The hotel has a spas, salon and fitness commodities that and an all day spa pass contains; cold
plunge, eucalyptus steam room, red wood sauna and 3hot Jacuzzis. Bellagio fitness centre has
Pilates classes, yoga and gym sessions providing personal services from experts and coaches.
The hotel has special gifts for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, engagements
and weddings. The gifts include and not limited to; bon bon selection, Bellagio sweet and
crunchy tray, chocolates and cordials, chocolate indulgence, sliced fruit platter and many
others(Gleeson, 2012).
The hotel offers Shadow Creek golf course to its guests giving their guests personal
caddie and limousine transportation. It has five pool definitive courtyards with executive
garden vista café, spa, poolside massage and private cabanas which is an outdoor oasis. At
the poolside there is a café offering snacks and foods during the day and a pool bar that offers
refreshing concoctions. The hotel welcomes its guests with their dogs and controls them with
their dog policy. It has a park that is an immersive outdoor destination for entertainment and
dining.
In their catering and restaurants services, they offer special events services. The arts,
settings and the designs of the hotel make it suitable for weddings with their event space
providing exquisite setting. It is famous for its award winning chefs and culinary artisans that
make meals and the event colourful. The casino has table games and entertainment that keeps
the guests relaxed. The hotel has won the AAA Five Diamond Award 15 years in a row and
was the first strip hotel to receive the award ten times in a row(Gleeson, 2012).
