Course Reflection on Writing Disciplines

It is important as a writer to acknowledge various writing strategies for a better writing discipline. Therefore, these strategies are crucial for competent writing. This essay is to major on the writing strategies, how it has improves writing and my most purposeful tool to major on throughout the course. Furthermore, the essay is to touch on the most important writing styles to master.

Some of the strategies that can make writing to be more engaging and professional includes; generation ideas to write on, how to develop and organize the ideas generated, and finally revising and editing your paper. As a student, I came to fully realize an improvement in some of my writing styles such as generation of the central idea, organization of this idea, how to include the supporting material, personal expression and how to correctly exploit spellings, grammar and punctuations. In addition, generating and developing an idea has been the most purposeful strategy to major on throughout the course.

As writer, I would major on generation and development of ideas as a strategy while furthering my studies. Additionally, I would love to exploit all the four types of writing but major on descriptive type of writing in order to realize special education as a discipline. This is because descriptive writing majorly involves use of five senses to paint a picture to the audience about the topic for clear understanding. Therefore I would major on descriptive type of wring to bring my special education as profession to a success.

In conclusion, I have learnt various writing strategies such as generating and developing ideas to enable me become a professional writer after completion of my course at Bay Path. Furthermore, this has enabled me to improve my writing elements and also to choose a better type of writing for special education as my discipline.
