1st Response: Characteristics of a Global Leader
Irrespective of the aspect that some people tend to think that leaders are either born or made, I hold that people are not born with leadership qualities but they can be trained to obtain the necessary skills for managing a given congregation. To illustrate, the leaders need to have characteristics such as self-awareness, dependable, trustworthy, and genuineness among others. On the other hand, I agree with the information provided in the post that global leaders tend to have different characteristics such as effectual communication, consciousness, and understanding (Forsyth, 2015). In particular, communication is a crucial element of these leaders since it enables them to interact with different individuals within the organization. Moreover, consciousness is an essential character of global leaders since it provides them with the capability of accepting the organizational stakeholders as well as the culture surrounding them (Lisak & Erez, 2015). Additionally, the global leaders should understanding, hence, managing to create a conducive environment for all the members in a certain firm.
2nd Response: Institutional Roles in Leadership
In considering to the second post, I agree with the argument that the global leaders should be focused on succeeding, multi-tasking and having the power of bringing about diversification in the firm through influencing people from different nationalities, cultures, and politics. Otherwise, I refute the notion that male leaders can be more successful than women in leadership positions (Lisak & Erez, 2015). Nevertheless, this post seems to be valid since it indicates that people leading in the international context are supposed to share some leadership duties with the persons having similar skills. More importantly, this post is reliable since it denotes various leadership characteristics including credibility, inclusive, and preeminent communication skills (Forsyth, 2015). In consideration with the above information, it occurs that this post is helpful in enhancing the managerial techniques.
3rd Response
According to the third post, communication is an essential factor that all international leaders should master. In relation to the above statement, I agree with this dispatch communication is closely linked with a component such as cultural, social, business and personal literacy. Conversely, this post shows that global leaders should have a complex understanding of manner into which different countries use communication in their organizations in order to be able to interact with the stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner. For instance, the above context enlightens the managers that residents in some countries depend on technology such as email while conveying the intended messages (Jin et al., 2017). On the other hand, other nations opt to have physical meetings while communicating with the fellows. Moreover, this article is valid since it denotes that despite many nations carrying out cross-cultural relations for long, these nations have not yet transformed their cultural practices (Haromszeki, 2016). Unlike, the notion that women are presently recognized in leadership positions, this post seems to be illogical because activities in countries such as China and the United States are carried out by all individuals irrespective of their gender differences.
4th Response
I agree with the argument in the fourth post that communication is a core factor in promoting interaction between different individuals within a given organization. In relation to the above information, gender normally plays a vital role in helping individuals to respond politically, religiously and socially. However, this post seems to be invalid because there is no confidential information indicating that women are effective, sympathetic and compassionate in handling diversity issues compared to men (Haromszeki, 2016). Otherwise, this post is reasonable because it highlights that sing languages, emoji, emails, and messages are essential in promoting communication between different individuals (Jin et al., 2017). In addition, this post shows that nationalities, cultures, and gender relies on personal responsibilities.
