1. How well do you think the writer integrates fact and thought? Where is it nothing but fact? Where is the paper making vague generalizations without reference to any facts? Be specific for the writer. If facts are missing, help them supply quotations or passages from the paper that will support and develop their vague assertions.

Overall, the review of essay Barn Burning denotes that it the writer does a great task of integrating fact and thought in an appropriate manner. To illustrate, this writer cites the subjects when articulating his or her position. Additionally, the writer did not make vague generalizations. The writer ascertains that every generalization is backed by confidential evidence, hence, ensuring that the whole text does not have any vague claims.

The second and third paragraphs seem to lack a suitable transition. In particular, a reader would realize that there is an unsettling discussion between the second and the paragraph. He also indicates that Sarty cannot understand the cause of the gap between the landowners and the landless. On the first sentence of the third paragraph, continues to discuss the same issue. 

3. Now, look at each individual quotation. Is there enough context to make the quotation sensible? Is there commentary that indicates the importance of the quotation to the writer’s point? Where could he explain or analyze the quotation in more detail?

The writer does not have any references in the text or commentary. In many cases, one needs to make individual quotes when articulating his position. Conversely, the aspect of including the needed details can make his argument to be more clear and confidential. For example, the author should have made sensible quotes, when informing the audience about the acts that the subject got involved.  

4. Comment on the overall feeling of the paper. Does the author seem to know what he’s doing? Do you have confidence in his conclusions? Does the writer present herself as knowledgable? Thoughtful? Well-informed? A careful reader?

The writer appears to connect the idea of his message in a more contextual manner. In consideration with the above statement, I hold that he needs to be aware of what he needed to do. I realize that this paper does not have either quotes or citations to support the provided arguments. The author does not offer supporting evidence, hence, making the essay’s conclusion to be invalid.
