Qualifications as a Projects Manager

My name is Jone Smith and am 28-years-old. I was born in Cardiff city but moved to Washington D.C. ten years ago with my family. I began my career as a project manager three years ago where I have managed various medium sized projects. From studying the job listing, I noticed that you needed a candidate with strong management skills and experience in the field. As you can see on my resume I have three years of experience as a project manager, and my experience alongside the ability to combine that with my people skills will make me a valuable addition to your team and set me apart from other candidates. I understand the importance of lasting relationships and actively seek to build those with senior managers, developers and vendors alike. I also value interactions with customers and realize that a contented customer is a repeat customer. My drive to deliver high-quality work is informed by my passion for this industry as well as the job I do. 

In my previous job for instance, I noticed communication problem relating to multiple departments and took the relevant measures to collect the problem. I employed strategic delegation techniques to assign members of my team specified responsibilities that were tailored towards enhancing inter-departmental communication. I engaged the managers of the other departments involved and encouraged them to take the necessary measures to improve the situation. At the end, the departments’ productivity was improved as a result of effective communication and enhance cooperation. I believe that my past experience will translate well into the position you are offering and I am more delighted to start new experiences in my career.
