I agree with your assessment of social media marketing trends that are both positive and negative.  I especially like the fact that it could “hit” potential new customers who otherwise may not be looking for a product.  One advantage to social media too is how fast it can reach a wide array of individuals across the globe with a few clicks.

Hi Megan, I agree with you that a company takes advantage of social media in selling product. It also a way of getting positive or negative feedback from a customer. It is a way of gathering information on what the market needs so that it can help the company to do changes in their product, customer, and marketing strategy. Some company does listen to their customer’s suggestion and feedback.  If the company realized the enormous potential profit that will be gain in making the product. I saw these things are happening. It is a sure market profit. It is also an excellent image to the company because customers will give positive and uplifting remark from their customer. Also, it shows that the company listened to the customer’s needs. However, that negative feedback is expected. Some of this feedback can cause damage to the image of the brand and the product. Especially coming from a person that is not a customer or credible source of information.
