The way communication has changed the last 50 years

 Communication can be defined as the act of passing or receiving information from one party or person to another through a medium or a specific transmission mode in which the information can be passed from the sender to the recipient. There are various types of transmission modes in matters of communication. Traditional modes and modern modes. From the last 50 years, communication has evolved throughout the world. Communication is then divided into two branches, written and unwritten communication.

 Among many other ancient modes of communication, unwritten communication was the earliest since human beings would communicate through talking or singing to each other. (Oller & Griebel, 2008). Then there was the invention of writing communication in which human beings would communicate through writing and drawing on the walls of caves and on stones. Then there was the invention of paper, papyrus and also wax. This invention stimulated the introduction of the printing industries and also the introduction of media presses in the 15th Century. (Hauser, 2005). This invention contributed greatly to the transfer of a number of paper works and documents from one place to another. Then there is the current invention of electronic knowledge in which electronic waves can carry information from a person to the other. This is done specifically over the World Wide Web and is considered durable sending quality documents, more secure and faster.

In conclusion, there is a clear evidence that the communication sector has evolved over the last 50 years. From the various types of traditional ancient modes to the modern ways of communication. This evolution is seen as an advantage to the current world in terms of finances in which it is seen to be cheap, good quality and high speed of communication.
