Opinion leaders are persons who give advice both online and physically to individuals and companies who need it. They influence an individual’s decision-making through information, experience, attitudes, behaviors, communication, opinion, and motivations. This definition defines Opinion leaders as people who communicate to communities, individuals, and companies in order to implement specific programs and agenda. They act as role models who influence behavioral change and character (Valente et al., 2007).
There are various reasons why adults want to go back to graduate school. Personally, I have a few reasons of which I will share. First, is the need to advance career and advance in the job market (promotion). Nowadays, for one to advance their career, they need additional education and technical skills. For example, a college teacher with a master’s degree needs to go for a postgraduate in order to teach in a University as a professor. The second reason that one needs to go back to school is the need to change career(s). People at times need to shift to a new field of work. It is in this case that one returns to school to acquire the needed skill set(s) for their desired career. Lastly, most adults return to school for re-enrollment because they left because of dropping out. This is due to different responsibilities such as raising a family, taking care of a sick loved one, too busy with work, etc. For these type of persons, they seize studying chances such as enrolling in an online studies program or even enrolling after settling own private issues (Sismondo, 2015).
Opinion leaders are well informed. This is a major character as it derives the importance of informal communication in schools. Therefore, we can conclusively state that Opinion leaders are a source of advice and information. Through peer experience sharing, great psychological skills, distinct personality traits, and proper knowledge, I intend to provide opinion leadership based on experience.
