Due to the 5-4 law named as “Affordable Care Act” that was passed by the Supreme Courts Obama Care, there are two writers each with their own opinions. According to writer 1, he supports the court’s position in regards to those people that does not do follow ups for preventive measures regularly and for the people who fails to seek medical attention when they experience symptoms of certain illness in their bodies, until their conditions worsens and they are forced to be laid in bed for their worse conditions. The insurance therefore, makes people more responsible and concerned with their health as they will be forced to be paying for their dues regularly
The writer further argues that the ruling is also of high favor to nurses, as it has incentives that expand nurse, physicians and doctors and this will be facilitated by the funds that will be offered for the repayments of loans and scholarships for the nurses that works in the remote areas and for the primary doctors. The writer also supports the ruling as it will offer homes to the disabled people (Cohen, 12). The writer encourages people to support this law through social networks although its effects will show up in future.
However, the second writer thinks that the ruling is made specifically for the United States to make health insurance more affordable to them. The writer further argues that the law aims at the health systems of the US hence it will work under all means to improve the quality of the health facilities, and control costs in the health facilities (Sonenberg & Murray, 14).
He also supports the court and the implications that he draws from this law is that the repayments and the nursing education will be expanded. This will be facilitated by the loan repayment programs and through federal loans limits to the students that will be taking nursing courses. The writer prefers to have a conversation about this law with a local representative from the government. According to his view on the law, it will mainly benefit the Americans.
