Issues on Religion

The joke by Rich Jeni on religious wars is a living truth. This however is from an intelligent examination of how religious wars manifests in the world today. It is not a wonder that some chaps out there claiming different religious backgrounds fly of the handle on matters of who is who and who is best as regards religious deities. Every religion today is seeking to advance its doctrines as wide as possible and even using every means possible. This does not exclude killing seen as sin in certain religions, some will employ it to seek a higher disposition than the other being, the other religion.

 Since religion is defined by its followers or so they say, then how these adherents behave in the context of religion as regards contemporary or secular life is a manifestation of some religious doctrines to some extent. Religion has tremendous impact on the lives of a people. It is a guide for the disoriented man. It is worth noting that all religious doctrines acknowledge the inability of man to keep to the standards required of them. However, he is endowed with the power to understand the way the higher being. It is all fanatics for any man who lifts a sword upon his brother in the name of religion.  The problem is not religion. It is just simply the way a production manager gives instructions to supervisors but the final product fails to meet requirements. Men make their own interpretations and misrepresent the word.
