In a third role, the leader creates an enabling environment for members to empower themselves, while leaders create power cells through which they delegate roles. The leader’s performance is gauged through the power cells, who also cuts a self-image, and exposes or avails themselves to the team. The team, in cohorts with their leader, plans its way forward independently in order to improve themselves. A forth role is mentorship in which team members are built up to excel in their current roles and built leadership qualities. The final role for a leader is to set minimum standards for every team member, and encourage the members to outdo those standards (Reynolds, 2015).
