Actions to Stop World Hunger

World hunger is one of the concerns that has extremely affected many countries in the world particularly the developing countries (Keeble, 1998). This issue has drawn many attention from international communities. Despite the actions that the international communities have put in place to make it come to an end, it also require personal responsibilities to make an impact change. Therefore, individuals should come out to start some initiatives to contribute on eradicating hunger in the world.

Personal involvement to the stopping of the world hunger is an important role. Therefore, I decided to create awareness to the public and raise funds. The decision to settle on this particular action was because I could easily access the public and some friends to educate the affected communities and raise some funds. This particular action is actually more of personal and could be managed more easily by an individual. This also made it different from my previous attempts to stop hunger in the world. The Above action is more appealing since it is more realistic and achievable.

The action to educate the community is actually challenging in terms of acquiring relevant resources to achieve the desired goals. This was at the beginning but it is more rewarding when all resources are put together. Therefore my personal experience is generally inspiring because other interested parties joining the initiative to make the dream realistic

The educated member of the community could now apply the knowledge gained from the creation of awareness initiative and the funds raised to manage the limited food sources. The affected communities can also grow enough food using the knowledge to sustain them during hunger (Sachs, 2008). This in turn accelerated the both public and private efforts to make better use of the available food supplies (Kantor, Lipton, Manchester & oliveira, 1997). Furthermore, the funds raised was donated to the relevant agencies like the World Food Program (WFP) to help in supplying and managing the food source to the victims. The public unlike the victims also enlightened themselves on how to handle the food especially in excess. They were educated to donate excess to various affected areas. This enabled the supply of edible food like bread from various restaurants to the victims (Kantor, Lipton, Manchester & Oliveira 1997).

Personally, my effort to aid in eradicating hunger in the world made a great difference since the victim benefited from the initiative. Evidently, the victims received help from the funds raised. Furthermore, the knowledge gained was directly helpful to the victims on how to manage the provided food which accelerated the effort by both private and public sectors to manage the limited food sources and supply. Additionally, the initiative also convinced the public and community member to donate food like bread to the victims.

From the whole assignment, I have learnt that many people are willing to assist in the stopping the hunger. This is evident when people are volunteering to raise fund and creating awareness. Furthermore, the experience gained has motivated me to do more in eliminating hunger in the world. Therefore I can do some different initiatives like speaking to my local government to be aware of my ideas to stop hunger. The government can therefore help in contributing items to the local food bank.
