Abstract

The Chicago speech held in September 11, in the year of 1893 in Chicago in America. In this speech he describe about the religious thoughts of Indians to American. Also he explains the religious thoughts concept through a small story. He started his speech as Dear sister and brothers of America. It was admired all the mind of people. After that he described some religious thoughts. But finally he said that the Indians are have all the things including religious, but they have one unnecessary thing that is poverty. After the speech the people follow him. Because they want to hear only Swamiji’s speech. This speech has that much of sprits.

Introduction

The Chicago speech had given by swami Vivekananda in the year of 1893 in America. Many country people invited to participate that conference. The contribution of India Swamiji selected to participate the conference. Swamiji was selected by all Indian kings to deliver the Chicago speech. The travel expensive of Swamiji it’s all accepted by the Indian kings. The kings arranged what are things he needs to attend the conference, like visa, participation letter. He traveled through the ship. He reached Bostern in America, but he have to reach Chicago. Because he lost his participation letter, visa and money. He used to sit in the middle of the street in Bostern. He saw a small infant, the child convey this information to her mother. That lady asked Swamiji to came to her house and speak with him.

Then she identified he was speaker to participate the Chicago conference. She told him that she could fulfill his fundamental needs, but she cannot help him to participate the conference. Because she didn’t had money. She informed the arrival of Swamiji’s to her neighbors. They all came and met Swamiji. Swamiji started his speech from the house, this information spread that surrounding. One the righteous person came and heared his speech, he helped Swamiji to participate the conference. The president asked Swamiji to, in which time has gave his conference, but he didn’t said exactly, so the president suggest himself and gave him time to after the lunch session. He started his speech as lovable sisters and brothers of America. There were seven thousands people gathered in the conference hall.

They all stand and continuously gave applause at two minutes to him. Because the other person started his speech as Ladies and gentleman of America.

So Swamiji speech attracted all the minds. Vivekananda gave many speech to the society, but Chicago speech was some more special among the American youngsters. Through this speech he established the Indians religious sprit, mannerism to others. This speech held before one twenty five years. But still it’s stand in all minds in our world. Before his speech he used to convey his thanks to all.

Religious Thoughts in the Speech

He conveyed his thanks to the people instead of some monks, mother of religious, and instead of millions of Hindu people. The people respect his religious thoughts. But he told people that, if he say the full Indian religious concept means, he needs more time, but that given time was not enough to him. Because, the Indian religious concept is longest one. It has four Veda’s and etc.

So he used to say a short story. A small frog was lived in the well. It knew only about the well and the living creatures those are lived in the well. Near the well there was a sea. Once the cyclone attacked the sea and the sea water spread in the well water. Then a sea frog mingle with the well by the force of air. The well frog wondered the size of sea frog, Because it was in big size. The well frog want to communicate with sea frog. Well frog used to asked some question to sea frog. First it asked what is mean sea? How? it is look like. The sea frog replied that sea is largest surface covered water. But the well frog could not analyze that. So it want to know that did some action to sea frog to confirm the water level of sea. The sea frog also silently watch and replied that.

The well frog jumped up four feets and asked this is the water level of sea?, the sea frog replied it’s not. And again it’s jumped up four feets and asked that same question, sea frog replied it’s not. I t had many confusion to know surrounding and depth of the sea, once it came out from the well and saw the surrounding of sea and wondered about that. Now he said the religious concept through this story. That was the Indian religion compared with well frog, its largest one. The other religious thoughts compared with well frog.

Here Swamiji used some good words to attract the minds of the people those who are gathered in the seminar hall powerful one, A good word can win, A bad word can kill. While speaking use some motivation words to others. Both of in our hand. Because the words have much power. So always we have to speak only the good words.

“The words should not be words alone. It should be sowing”.

The Indians are have religious thoughts, But they have one unnecessary thing that is poverty. Others get religious thoughts from Indians and help them to remove the poverty.

Conclusion

After that the people stand and follow Swamiji. Because they didn’t ready to hear other speech except Swamiji. The committee members requested Swamiji to again came to conference hall.

Still the Indians suffered by poverty. But we enough religious knowledge. If we want abolish poverty means we must create awareness among the people. Also try to remove the ignorance of the people. Education and economy wealth is key to destroy the poverty. The Indian government announced free education to the poor people, help to develop their economic condition. Abandoned some variation between the people. We must think always

“The red blood is flow in all bodies

The saltiness contain all sweating drop

The eyes color is black and blue to all. ”

Then why we have to keep some partiality, instead of this we have to make unity among the all.

“We are the Indians we are the child of our national mother”.

Give some respect to patriotism. Keep that it always in our mind, it helps to reduce the most of the problems. Also many good speakers lived our society, although Vivekananda was some special person than all. Because speech was main cause of that. Still many Vivekanander will need to become in our society to create the confident and abolish superstitious believes. Vivekananda speech always focus only adolescence , because they are the future pillars of our world. Also we have to keep promise with ourself to follow the legends concept like Swamiji. Because religious thoughts is much important to lead the human life in successful way.
