By now, you have read and watched and  thought a great deal about Islam. You have been exposed to some of the most controversial and vexing problems posed by various Fundamentalist interpretations of Islam, and some of the most strident criticisms of it as well. There is little credible doubt that extremism and associated intolerance is a significant cause of some of the most serious and persistent threats to the contemporary social order.
