The health centers, Bellevue included should be able to balance the needs of the patients and the shareholders’ interests, politics. My proposal for Bellevue hospital involves the establishment of a body that aims at ensuring that both interests of all stakeholders in the hospital (Wolf, 2012). Among the five Ps, all of them are important, and I believe each one of them has a role to play in ensuring quality service delivery among the patients. Further, in the marketing efforts, the marketing team must be careful in how they handle the five Ps. In marketing communication the focus is mainly on the patient. However, the role of the physician, payers, and the public and both internal and external politics must be considered and their contribution to quality service delivery (NYC HEALTH+ Hospitals). However, in my plan, I have given great emphasis on the politics and patient Ps.
Bellevue as a hospital and business at the same time employing various marketing strategies is very important for it to grow. My communication plan involves balancing and harmonizing the interests of politics and quality service delivery. The politics in the hospital determines the effectiveness of the service delivery and hence resulting in patient dissatisfaction/ satisfaction (Vanderbilt University, 2012). The plan involves exploitation of word of mouth market strategies, with this plan quality will be emphasized and thus rely on customer satisfaction to spread the message. Further, the plan also will include relationship marketing strategy; this is geared to retaining the available clients and ensures that strong ties exist between the hospital and the patients hence retaining them (Smith). With these two strategies, the politics and the patients will be at complementary levels. Thus in marketing emphasis will be given to how all agencies in the hospital relate well to each other and hence improving the quality of service to the customers.
