Business

Part 1

Business in the Dakota culture is one that is fairly treated a part of the way of living. Business in this culture is held with ultimate respect because it is part of the social determinants of life among the people of the Dakota tribe. In the very first place, everyone is expected to conduct a particular duty that is expected to see their families survive and work normally. The Dakota tribe is, therefore, one that views life not from the view of a single human being or that of a single member of the family but the view of every member of the family. It squarely means that everyone works for the betterment of their families and not just for the benefit of self.

The Dakota people are some of the most knowledgeable people in business. The setting in which they found themselves in did not restrict them from engaging in business. Inasmuch as they were not endowed with the items that are treated as valuables, they believed that fur was the valuable that they could use to establish themselves in business and enrich their community (Whelan, 1993). From an outsiders view, fur is one of the cheapest commodities that one could ever think of. The external view of fur as a cheap commodity did not, however, stop the people of the tribe from engaging in barter trade where fur was their commodity of trade. By trading using fur the Dakota people could acquire such item as gold, clothes and other valuables that were not existent in their community. Their trade was, therefore, an economic activity that heavily uplifted the social status of the Dakota people.

The fur trade among the Dakota people was such an instrumental part of the social system in that it united families and the whole tribe towards a single goal. The goal that everyone in the family held in the very first engagements in the fur business is that they wanted to make their families get rich. No one wanted to get rich alone and leave some of their family members poor. Each of them had a goal to use the business to make their families be better positioned in the social spheres of the tribe. The influence of the social view of the business developed from the family unit to the clan unit. The people of the tribe engaged in better relationships. People who were strangers but were members of the Dakota could engage in the trade with ultimate honesty understanding that they were representing their tribe and its name alongside. As the time passed by however the Dakota people thought that the fur business would be used to take their land and all in unison, as a social unit refused to pay their debts (Whelan, 1993). The fur trade was, therefore, a unifying factor for the Dakota people.

The purpose of business among the Dakota people and the reason that business became a social system in the Dakota people is that they were unit that wanted to improve their economic ability. It was a group that was ready to put all their efforts into protecting the fur business to protect their land and their interests. In the end, the Dakota people used business as an item of social protection of the whole tribe against invasion.

Part 2

In the Chinese culture, business remains a culture of pertinence. In China, the white collar does not just resemble that of the other societies. It means that one is able to afford a better job and hence earn more respect from society. The white-collar culture of business in the Chinese culture came as a result of the increased levels of corruption that were being witnessed in the nation. The culture of corruption was moving on to unknown levels given the communist approach of the chines people. The white-collar bailing was, however, an invention that looked like one where the communist approach would be put away for some time and the adoption of a more capitalist inclined approach such that we Chinese people could work more efficiently.

I believe that the white collar bailing was a socially inclined business approach in that small businesses were allowed to operate with minimal interference from the government being witnessed. This squarely means that as a business owner hiring up to seven workers is not legally punishable. The business aspect could not just improve businesses. It would also be a sufficing measure to improve relations between small business owners and the government as well as with their employees. There was a high level of interactions amongst people in the business world that were brought by the business culture (Duthie, 2005).  The business culture was, therefore, one that addressed the issue of corruption as well as ensuring that the interactions between people in business happened more naturally. In that view, the business culture is one that I deem fit because it increases social interactions making the society more united in business and consequently in other fields.

The white-collar business aspect evolved to be part of the social system from a very little angle. It evolved because, in the very first place, no one, not ever the government expected that the business legislation would seek to equalize social classes. The establishment of business in the entire Republic of China was eased by the fact that there was no more discrimination in business directed towards the small business owners. They were given the same ability to build themselves just like the owners of the large businesses were. The small business could manage their business owners just like factory owners could manage their business with little interference from the government (Duthie, 2005). More people joined the middle class as a result of the new business culture. The middle class was composed of entrepreneurs, professional people, employed people managers, and other people. For that reason, I believe that the introduction of the business culture was for the benefit of the social systems which were leveled up making everyone equal.

The business culture has its particular purpose as part of the social system in my culture. It is necessary for that it has enabled business to be more personalized as opposed to generalized. Business owners conduct business with a very clear understanding that the fate of their businesses depends on how they treat the human factor that is inclusive of customers and workers. It is also an aspect that has had an instrumental function in creating equality and hard work. Due to the aspect, a state that was once male-dominated has seen females rise to the higher echelons of leadership and business. It has also helped in the fight against corruption which means that it has attained the desires it was meant for in the social spheres.
