BUSINESS CANVAS MODEL SCRIPT

The Business Canvas Model is tool that renders to clear understanding of the elements of a business for its effective management as well as success as asserted by (Fritscher and Pigneur (2016). The Business Canvas Model is made up of nine elements that are useful in explaining the status of a business; value proposition, customer segments, channels, customer relations, key activities, key resources, key partners, cost structure, and revenue streams. The business model has been proven to be effective for the Robotic firm. Below is a description of each element of the model in relation to the Robotic firm:

Value proposition– The robot bartenders are making the work of mixing the cocktails easier as well as free of errors as opposed to humans who are prone to errors during mixing (Peacock et al. 2018). The restaurants using the robot bartenders are experiencing a smooth transition from human servicing to robotic servicing, reducing the cost of labor. Proper maintenance of the robots guarantees long-term service as well as few complaints regarding technical errors. Also, the robot bartenders are not viable of leading to contamination unlike the human bartenders who are prone to contaminating drinks.  

Customer segments– The Robot firm’s target customers are restaurants, bars, and clubs as well as other recreational areas that incorporates drinks as well as beverages in their menus. The other target customers include the middle-class and the upper-class individuals who really needs to have a home-based robot bartender to serve the beverages, alcohol, and any other drink. This categories are included as the target customers as they are bound to demanding for class as well as an experience that is fulfilled where the robot bartenders are able to serve an individual according to the taste as well as the preference of the client. 

Channels– the distribution of the robot bartenders is only guaranteed to the partner retail stores. Also, the installation of the automated robot bartenders will be carried out by the organization itself in collaboration with business entities to ensure safety in installation. This will also enhance the effective distribution of the organization’s services within the city. 

Customer relations– it is the hope of the Robot firm to create a caring as well as a mutually beneficial relationship with its customers. Since the firm does not wish to sell the automated bartenders, it offers to provide maintenance as well as upgrade services for free. This will create customer satisfaction. 

Key activities– the manufacturer of the Robot bartender engages in activities such as creation of the robot bartenders, provision of the maintenance services, and improvement of the technology involved in the manufacturing of the robots. The firm holds innovation dearly as it is the most crucial sector of investment of the Robot firm. 0the activities that the firm carries out include the initiatives of research and development of its products and services with the aim of bettering the technology of robot bartendering. 

  Key resources– The robot firm can only realize its value proposition if all of its resources are available. The key resources include those resources that render to activities such as production, logistics, enabling relations with the firm’s clients, streaming revenue, and the maintenance services. Other major resources include skilled personnel and finances. 

Key partners– The Robot firm’s key partners include the beverage and alcohol manufacturers, restaurants, event organizations, and retail stores. Other the robots can be sold for large-scale use or for personal use thereby, any individual or group willing to partner with the Robot farm is highly appreciated 

Cost structure– this is the cost that is incurred during the activities that render to the realization of revenue return as well as development the value proposition. The firm is currently incurring both the variable and fixed costs in areas such as the processes of production, distribution, maintenance, and marketing. Before getting into the exportation of the robot bartender, the Robot firm should make sure that all the charges that form the cost structure are adequately covered without haste.  

  Revenue streams– The Robot firm is sourcing its revenue from various sources. The main source of the revenue include the bars and restaurants that have subscribed to the services. Another source of revenue include leasing the automated robot bartender. The third source of revenue for the robot bartenders will come from providing the maintenance services to the clients. And lastly, revenue will be generated from selling to the individual consumers at home. 

Conclusion 

The Robot firm is working very well and has been able to identify all the key elements of an organization as supposed by the Business canvas Model. The model contains nine major elements that an organization is supposed to describe itself using. The Robot bartender firm is enjoying the effectiveness of the Business Model Canvas that has enabled in clearly presenting as well as understanding the functioning the firm. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Business Model Canvas is effective in presenting as well as in explaining the Robot bartender firm.
