Business Plan Progress Report

During our discussion on how we as the Blue Group should handle the Business Plan project, each member came up with different opinions on how to approach the project. Tamara observed that during the second week we attempted something similar to a business plan during the week’s discussion. As such, Tamara opined that there are different types of business plan models and in her research, she came across a few such as the start-up plan, the operational plan, investment plan among others. She suggested the operational plan or the growth plan. Michelle and I were in support of her sentiments. 

At the end of it all, Michelle got it right. She zeroed in on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and critically looked at the important aspects that the proposal requires. On the important aspects, she suggested that each member handles a part of it and suggested what each member should do. She further added other elements that should feature in the plan but not initially described in the list of important factors. Such factors include, description of the product/service which was assigned to Robert, industry profile (Michelle), financial information (Me) and the operational plan (Tamara). The remaining part of the CLC project is the execution of the assigned roles which should be done individually but with consultation of the group members. The group timelines which were formulated by Michelle are as follows; by 29^th August, the plan to use was supposed to be agreed upon, by September 5^th, each group member should report to the instructor, September 12^th will see the group members submit their assigned roles, on September 17^th, the final paper would be availed for the team members to review and edit where appropriate. By 20^th everyone should have reviewed the final copy and by 26^th September, the CLC should be submitted.
