PURPOSE
The purpose of this reflective discussion is to encourage student reflection upon concepts learned
during the module and their contribution to professional growth. Students will reflect upon learning
within each module and connect insights gained with course-specific outcomes.

guidelines. Application of technology in a manner that facilitates patient care and organizational outcomes
is essential to building and sustaining a culture of excellence within the clinical environment. The purpose of
this assignment is to explore how technology and information systems can be used to promote patient
safety, quality of care, and efficient delivery of care in the clinical healthcare environment. In addition,
ethical and legal considerations surrounding technology and information systems will be examined, along
with implications for advanced nursing practice.
