Hello Class – Wanted to clarify a few things with the research assignment. Please ensure you include the following…

• Select any worldwide case (as stated in the syllabus) that was significantly covered by the media. 
• Background of the case you selected with some historical facts to the person(s) involved. 
• How did the media’s coverage of this case impact viewers (Provide background and details about policy changes, social changes and belief system changes – It is an overall review of the case’s impact)
• Positive or negative impact overall
• How did the media benefit from their coverage of the case. 

Use the Rubric to support your paper format and content. 

Students will submit a thorough research paper on any criminal case/trial that had worldwide media coverage. APA format must be adhered with supporting references and title page. The paper will be no less then 10 pages, but must not exceed 12 pages. This does not include title page or reference page. Please review the attached rubric below.
