Reflection on a Workplace Situation
Sometimes back, we were having a group project. I was assigned the role of team leader. After we completed the project, we were supposed to do a presentation and being the team leader, it was my role and responsibility to compile everything in a PowerPoint presentation and present it to the audience. I approached the supervisor and explained my situation to her. The supervisor was encouraging and helpful in several ways. She explained to me how to do the PowerPoint presentation, encouraged me to face my fears, and do the presentation because being the team leader meant I was capable. The supervisor went ahead to point my previous achievements, which helped me greatly. When the day of the presentation came, I had compiled my presentation and demonstrated our work to the audience. If the supervisor had not motivated me, I do not think I would have done it well and I would have let my team down.
