Bias explanation and solutions
Moderator bias is where the interviewer demeanor affects the quality of the data collected. Solution; the research team should be trained on how to be diligent in asking questions.
Research bias due to biased sample occurs where the respondents interviewed to not represent the intended population. Solution; employment of purposive sampling which is non-probability sampling to identify relevant respondents .
Bias questions occur due to the interviewer asking leading questions. Solution; framing questions appropriately.
