Ground Rules

1. Members shall be expected to be punctual for meeting. Team members who come late will be required to write the group minutes during the next meeting.
2. A member who might not be able to attend a meeting will be required to report to the group leader. If the member had a presentation to make during the meeting, he or she will designate the group secretary with the responsibility of doing so.
3. Members will be required to come fully prepared for meeting as a show of commitment to the success of the group.
4. To encourage participation during meetings, each member will be required to give an opinion at least in every two consecutive meetings.
5. In normal cases, the group secretary will keep the group minutes. He or she will be relieved on the duties by member who came late in the previous meetings.
6. The group leader will lead meetings.
7. Members will decide when the next meeting will be held.
8. During meetings, decisions will be made by consensus. Unanimous support is the goal of consensus. In the event that decisions are made by consensus, individual members who were not in support of the idea will be required to fully support the decision reached.
9. Nevertheless, open debates about an idea are encouraged to give other members a new look at the matter in discussion but consensus will be the basis on which decisions are made.
10. Silence will directly be taken to mean consent. Because it is an expectation that all members will give their views on a matter in discussion, once consensus is achieved, members who remain silent will be deemed in support of the decision. In the same line of thought, absent members will be given notice of the decisions and required to give a contribution which will be considered during the decision making. With that, absent members will be required to be in support on the decision made.
11. Members will be held of any commitments, whatsoever, made to the group.
12. Members will not willing fully expose one another to disparagement.
13. Members will be required to treat each other with respect and no time take discussions during meetings as personal issues an hurl insults at each other.
