Your discussion should also include at least one peer-reviewed article on some type of research study involving the type of aphasia you have chosen. Each student should pick a unique type. Describe the symptoms, the mechanisms in the brain that are involved, and most common etiologies. Your discussion should also include at least one original peer-reviewed research study involving the memory impairment you have chosen. To assist you with your research consider using the library’s Scholarly, Peer-Reviewed, and Other Credible Sources (Links to an external site.) tip sheet.Guided Response: Review several of your colleagues’ posts from the group that you were not assigned to. For example, if you were assigned to Group 1, you will review the posts of two peers in Group 2 and vice versa. Respond to at least two of your peers by 11:59 p.m. on Day 7 of the week. Your reply should not only address the content of your peer’s post, but must include a discussion of current treatment options for the disorder you are reviewing that are supported by at least one peer-reviewed article. You are encouraged to post your required replies earlier in the week to promote more meaningful interactive discourse in this discussion.
