THE TELEHEALTH EXPANSION PROGRAM
MISSION STATEMENT
• “To improve the health and well-being
of the diverse communities we serve.”
• The facility’s mission statement is in
line with the intended telehealth
expansion program (Pauly, 2022).
• Through telehealth expansion the
facility will be able to reach more
patients especially from marginalized
communities.

RELEVANCE OF THE PROJECT
• The health facility has had challenges including;
✓ Lack of equity in service provision.
✓ High cost of care (McGrath, 2022).
✓ Staff shortages.
• The expansion of the telehealth program will help to
reach people from marginalized communities who
often lack accessibility to basic health care.
• Also, the project will help in cutting the already high
cost of care while utilizing the limited staff personnel.
