Position: Senior Health Policy Analyst

Job description

The position is in search of a person who will who will offer his contribution as a team member to work as required towards policy development, implementation and assessment of health safety net, conduct other assessments towards meeting the overall Medicaid goals and supervision of subordinates as required.  He or she must have at least four years experience in healthcare planning or administration, business administration or any combination of the above experiences. The Senior Health Policy Analyst will contribute towards the implementation, development and analysis of policies related to safety, a program which offers payment of healthcare for low income patients (“CEO”, 2004).

I believe working in the HHS career area is right for me as it gives me an opportunity to exploit my management skills. It also helps to improve my leadership skills and exploit my interests in policy development (“CEO”, 2004).

In this career area the kind of work I would be doing would be is policy development, creation, and assessment and would often be required to work under consultation towards a better legal system in regard to human health services (“CEO”, 2004).

Position: Nurse

Job description

A nurse is expected to serve the Nation during public health crises and emergencies, conduct research and drug reviews, impact the health policy and obtain clinical leadership skills (“U. S. Public Health Service”, 2014). One is also expected to offer their services to those who have served the nation in the military.

I believe working in the HHS career area would be right for me because I have always had interests to serve my nation through those who have worked in the military. I also think that this job will work towards the development of my leadership skills and help me understand the discipline structure of the military, a phenomenon that has always impressed me (“U. S. Public Health Service”, 2014).

In this career area the kind of work I would be doing would be required to offer assistance to clinical doctors, offer my services to military officers and participate in the review and research of drugs (“U. S. Public Health Service”, 2014).
