This book is a good guide for both native and non-native English speakers, as it contains tips which not only help you improve your speaking but also make you perfect your language. Andy Smart understands how important communication is, and so he listed down every crucial point one needs to master the English language.
He starts by talking about the basics; greetings and goodbyes, simple words and phrases and how to use each. I loved that he wrote about the common errors we make in grammar, as I was able to see the mistakes I sometimes make.
Every IELTS student should get this book as it is vital in their studying. The book is divided into 12 parts which talk about specific topics. They include daily life, health and fitness, education and work, culture and much more. I loved part 12 which was also the last part, as the author talked about society. Andy had interesting discussions when talking about politics, religion, alternative living, social problems, and success. There is so much one can learn from this book, that I would advise anyone who wants to be fluent in the English language to get it.
