I want to suggest that there be some reviews in some of our policies in the company regarding how business is conducted and the overall running of the business. This is a concern that has raised my attention due to the changing of the tide in the way global logistics and transportation is changing (Mustra, 2010). The impact that globalization is likely to have on the organization is likely to catch the organization off-guard in matters of management and the finances.
The current training of employees in the organization is not adequate, there needs to be a more rigorous training program that should be taken up by the organization. The organization should be able to engage in training that could be able to integrate the employees into the company. This type of training will enable persons to be able to perform different tasks when they are required to do so by the company (Wen, 2012). The issue of globalization should also allow the company to take up employees from different backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, it would be highly advisable to engage in a multi-cultural sensitivity training program for the employees (Wen, 2012).
The company should also try and take advantage of the current business climate, which is absent of any regulations (Ojala, 2010). This would be the; best time to engage in business and create ties in other area and countries. This will help the organization to establish itself in other places where there is a gap in the services that are being offered by the organization.
The globalization of this business will also ensure that the company has been able to increase its income and even its revenue, and this will help the company to grow and have much better outreach (Arvis, 2010).
Moreover, the current organizational structure could be reduced to decrease redundancy in the company (Arvis, 2010). There are too many roles that have been created that seem unnecessary, and they can ultimately be done by one person. It is vital that the company undertakes some of these changes before the change is forced upon them by the authorities (Wen, 2012).
Please provide your comments regarding this recommendation by next week so I could discuss the details of this program.
