Information System for Decision Making

1. What did you expect to accomplish on the project this week? 

In this week’s project, I expect to accomplish objectives like allocating security to the department. Also, I would analyze what the organization needs to implementing in short term based on data collection and protection of broad bandwidth. 

2. What did you accomplish on the project this week? 

During this week, I was in a position to identify the strengths, limitations and risks of my project. Also, I was able to understand how they are valuable to the company because their identification determines the path that a company can take to ensure security of its infrastructure. I also shared the strengths, risks, and limitations to all stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of the system operations and vulnerabilities.

3. What issues have arisen, and what help do you need?

Following this week’s activities, I noted there was a problem with management strategies. Therefore, I had to change the strategies to ensure that I had a good relationship with all levels in the management and staff. Besides, I conducted a replacement of old equipment and ensured that data was up to date.

4. What do you expect to accomplish on the project next week? 

The accomplishments that I target for next week is conducting staff training. I am planning to conduct training and testing required to ensure that I am in line with the objectives of the company. Even though training is expected to take longer, next week I will ensure that all levels of management and staff are equipped with necessary information and the trainers are aware of daily, weekly, and monthly targets of the training session. To succeed in the endeavor, I have to ensure all stakeholders in the company are aware of the movements and steps they are supposed to make when mitigating problems. Also, the evidence will be provided on the why the steps are taken. As a result, the project is on the right track.
