  1. Unfairness by state to older workers
  2. Unfairness by workers/employees to older workers
  3. Unfairness by unions to older workers

Answer:

Unfair Treatment

There are lots of issues that are been faced by experienced workers in Australia. It is because of many reasons and in many ways. Some of them are mentioned below:

Unfairness by the State

It is very important for the employees to every employee equally and gives them fair treatment. Employees who are working in any company are eligible for fair treatment by the state. It is because they have helped the company in achieving its success. But it has been observed that these employees are not been treated fairly. The state is also been involved in treating the workers unfairly.  This is because there is no law against employees been treated unfairly. As a result, many employees have to face problems. Their employees can dismiss them anytime from their job and workers or employees cannot do anything about this. This is considered to be an unfair treatment by the state because it the responsibility of the state government to protect the rights of employees/ workers from all the unfair practices that have to be faced by them (Emarban, 2019).

This can also lead to the demotion and transfer of employees in the company. Many employees in the country are been working for a long period. But because of the social changes in the environment they have been either removed from the company or they have been treated unfairly. Unfair treatment can also be regarding the salary of employees. There is no law in which it has been stated that employees or workers who are having experience must have been given a minimum amount of wages or salary. As a result of that, many employees and workers are not been given wages or salaries according to their experience (Workplace Fairness, 2020).

Unfairness by Employee/Workers

Some many employees and workers are facing the problem of unfair treatment among the company. Some employees are having experience working in a company but because of their knowledge regarding technological and social change they have to face unfair treatment by other employees or workers of the company. There are times when these employees and workers will bully and harass the older employees. As a result of that many older employees have to face unfair treatment among the company. This may also result in demotivation and emotional breakdown of employees. There are also sex-based harassment and work discrimination that has to be faced by many employees or workers in the company. There are 18 percent of employees who are facing the problem of unfair treatment in the company (Coleman, Sykes, & Groom, 2013). Some many employees and workers insult older employees or workers because of their not so upgraded technological knowledge or for their traditional style of working. There are times when these employees will be rude with older employees working in the company (Rapp & Sargeant, 2016).

Unfairness by the Unions

Trade Unions are considered to be those unions that will help employees in improving the conditions that are set by employers for employees. But there is some of the practice that is called to be unfair for older employees. These unfair practices are that many trade unions threaten the employees to be a part of the union. Employees also try to dominate older employees by treating them regarding the legal actions that can be taken against them if they will not be a part of that union. There is also discriminations done by the leaders of trade unions. Unwanted penalties are being imposed on the employees if they will no follow the guidelines that are set by the unions (Guerin, 2020). This is most commonly done with older employees because these types of employees are loyal to the company and they are lest interested in being a part of any trade union. Young and new employees of the company also threaten older employees of the physical injury that can be caused to them if they will not support unions in strikes. Trade unions also made compulsory for all employees to be a part of the agreement. Trade unions also refuse to protect the rights of older employees that are facing issues with companies. This will also lead to emotional harassment of older employees who are working in the company (Union Facts, 2020).

Conclusion

Many unfair practices have to be faced by employees that are working in the company. Some of these practices are mentioned in the above discussions. These unfair practices will demotivate employees or workers and they also have to face mental harassment.
