Motivation, Stress, and Time Management

Motivation, stress, and management constitute the fundamental factors in workplace dynamics. Motivation is a critical factor in employee productivity (Barney & Elias, 2010). The company management needs to work on employee motivation to achieve higher productivity. While motivation is the most significant influencer in employee production, it is easier said than done. For example, our company lost a section of their clients due to the dissociation that occurred in our department. Most of the employees lost interest or even worried after a member had a tragedy in the fieldwork. It took the intervention of the company to restore the sanity through the motivation in workshops.

Stress, which is the feeling of emotional or physical tension, can be bad for the work environment. Working under stress can be frustrating and exhausting. The company should learn to handle cases of stress for the employees (Barney & Elias, 2010). Where an employee cannot reach a solution, the process always gets tiring. Frustration always follows such cases. However, the company should help the employee because, at this point, the solution takes longer, and the employee is drained. I have experienced such a case.

Time management is essential for the delivery of resources and saving others of the time needed to complete a project (Barney & Elias, 2010). From my experience of stress, I have had the cases when I take long to complete a task and delaying the others in the process. However, I resolved a solution to getting rest when I get tired and work on the problem when I am fresh and in a stable mental state. In such a situation, it always takes me a shorter duration to solve the problem, and I can compensate for the time lost. The arrangement has helped the company have smooth work and achieve all the projects in time.
