State right to work laws

The right to work laws enables workers to have protection from their companies by getting representation from union representatives even without be part of a workers union. This allows them to have their rights being accorded to them regardless of their union status. Some have argued against this law, stating that it forces companies to be extra cautious, and some workers could end up manipulating the companies to get reasonable settlement fees (Whiney, 2016).

Impact on the right to work laws on companies

These laws are suitable for the company because they keep the companies in line with these laws by making them value their employees. Employees’ will feel more valued, and it could increase productivity. However, others are of a different opinion because some state that employees are likely to take advantage of these laws and they eventually end up hurting the reputation of these companies through lawsuits (Makridis, 2018).

Value addition in the right to work state

Working in this type of environment does add value to an organization because the workforce is a vital resource. The employees will feel that they are valued and it could lead to more productivity and output for the company (Epstein, 2018). It also allows the company to be aware of their worker’s rights and privileges.

The employee can have a sense of belonging, and when the company values an employee, there is satisfaction on both ends. It creates a win-win situation because it enables the person to grow, and the company also increases at the same time.

These laws add value to the state, and they do this by ensuring that there is a balance in the workplace. The state does not want to have a situation where employees have their rights being infringed (Makridis, 2018). The country is the watchdog in these types of cases, and if anything happens, they will end up being criticized. The state helps to maintain this balance, and it helps to protect the employees.
