Individuals might think that the failure of America to sign the agreement will have no effect on other nations. Otherwise, I am sure that the above action by the government of the United States will subject other nations to additional costs and expenses of conserving the environment. However, the actions by the businesses, municipalities and individual states to protect the surrounding will not be enough since there is need of coming up with the advanced mechanisms of determining the extent to which emissions have been released to the atmosphere. Similarly, the advanced technology will also help in preventing further emissions. 

What types of environmental impacts can we expect if the increase in global average temperature exceeds 2 degrees Celsius?

  If the Paris agreement will not be effective, the global average temperature may go beyond 2-degree Celsius, a thing that will, in turn, affect humanity and vegetation in a negative way. For instance, the above temperature will hinder effectual and efficient growth of plants, thereby, increasing the risk of having drought and famine. 

To conclude, the Paris Agreement involves many countries with an objective of controlling pollutions as well as greenhouse emissions. Irrespective of the authors of the above accord aiming at conserving the environment,  the United States have declined to sign the treaty by arguing that this agreement will affect American in an adverse manner. In this case, Trump holds that the Paris Agreement does not favor them but it instead depletes their economy. However, many states and organization are pleading with America to join the agreement in order to reduce the cost of controlling greenhouse emissions. Otherwise, the Paris Agreement is essential since the focus on mitigating environmental effects may occur when global average temperature exceeds 2°C. As matter of fact, it is essential for nations to support the Paris Agreement in order to protect humanity and vegetation.
