The health department in Florida is one of the departments with variety of issues and criticism facing it. This department has produced many qualified health care professionals who are working in different fields. Some of these professionals have come back to the university with the intention of furthering their studies. Many of the ongoing and past nurse students criticize the education system in their department, and it is one of the major issues in the university. The thesis of this essay is’ ‘‘never judge a book by its cover peruse and you will find, and make your decision according to your findings, and opinions are just but hearsays which should not be assumed.’’

The clinical experience is limited as it is only from a nursing home, ALF, UCP Foundation. The department lacks a sim lab due to lack of simulation and uses dummies together with old equipment rarely used by the students. The management has been receiving the complaints for a long time and ongoing students are waiting for change to occur.

The department is also facing criticism that it is disorganized and many students have illustrated their opinion on this as a fact as questions targeted to the administration are sometimes ignored. The health administration department has good teachers with no right teaching tools and use old curriculum while giving the predictor test. The cost of nursing course is $45,000 which is way higher as compared to the quality and passing rate of the students. The failing rate of nursing student is high as compared to the high cost of the course. The high cost should produce high and quality education to the students. This department has faced a lot of criticism which is unlike other faculties. 

All is not lost about the health service department in Florida national university, it may be expensive but its high cost is averaged as compared to other private universities- its cost has to be different from public universities. All the teachers in the department are bilingual and they speak Spanglish and are ready to teach a whole class in English if one student is not familiar with Spanish. It has produced a lot and many qualified nursing professionals all over the world. Many of them who took their undergraduate or diploma courses are coming back to the university for their masters. I the university’s services were that bad, older students would not be come backs to the institution.

The faculty is made of members with strong professional and academic backgrounds who dedicate their time and resources in teaching, continuing professional development and performing of research. This program faculty is supportive and accessible as it strives in availing itself to the student outside the class. The high percent in failure should not be attributed to the institution failure but also to individual students. This is because degree and diplomas are earned and not freely given. The health administration has improved due to the new administration formed. Students need to study and work hard for them to finish their diplomas and degrees.
