Strategic Planning and Executive Colin Powell

Colin Powell was born in Harlem by the Jamaican immigrants. He was an American statesman. His extensive career was evolving in the military. He became National Security Advisor, Commander of US Armed Forces. Colin Powel was the first and the 65^th black state’s secretary as well as the Chairman of the Chief Staff in the rain of the president George Bush (Matthews, 2019). However, the American Army citizens are taught to live by Army values. These values were applied whether they are off or on duty. Therefore, the seven Values are what solder is about. 

These values are Loyalty; This is being faithful to the America Constitution as well as the Army. It entails the unity amongst the soldiers. Loyalty is a way of bearing true faith and devoting to something or someone. Moreover, the solders express their devotion through wearing the America army uniform and by conducting their duties; they show their loyalty to their various units. Respect is another army value. This is whereby the army treats others how they should be treated with full dignity. Moreover, respect enables the soldiers to put in the best effort in their various units.

The soldiers usually strive to perform their duties as required by the constitution.  U.S soldiers’ work entails carrying out the assignments onto another without attempting on the shortcuts. Other army values are selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.  However, Civil Education System of the Army concerning the Leadership Development Program is a crucial part of strategies in the US leadership, since it prepares agile and innovative Army Civilians who can be able to lead in the times of change as well as the uncertainties.
