Spa De Soleil Manufacturing Inc. is a company that specializes in beauty products manufacturing. It is located in Sun Valley, Carlifornia. It has been in operation since 1989 (Spa De Soleil Manufacturing Inc, 2014). It now intends to roll out a new product line for men. While it has previously targeted women in the past, it sees the need to embrace men as a profitable market.
The main advantage that Soleil has over its competitors is that it has specialized that mainly natural and organic. Its products are carcinogen free or do not contain cancer causing substances. It has also been in the market long enough to command a loyal market share. The introduction of the new product line will not be a difficult one for a company with the customer command that Spa De Soleil commands.
Its major weaknesses are the fact that it is entering into a new market and most new customers will first try to test their products to determine if they are good enough and whether they meet their needs. Spa De Soleil also outsources some raw materials from its competitors and has often suffered from pressure originating from these companies seeking to charge higher prices.
