Tender No Judgment: #1 In The Desperation To Power Series

I love how the story starts. Two people in love and their life is just perfect. I could tell that this was going to be a good romance novel. The thing with this book is that it takes you to a fantasy world from the beginning. I enjoyed reading the story of the two lovebirds. I appreciate the author’s imaginative mind, as every bit of the book was entertaining.

Meet  Sabrina, she works at a bookstore which on most occasions gets visited by socialites who loved reading tabloids and magazines as they relax at the club’s spa. I liked how the bookstore was described; a quiet little bookstore. Though small, it was visited by giant personalities. Even in her little store, Sabrina had big dreams. She wished to live like Cinderella. She daydreamed about a prince and a castle.

Micah was the ideal lover for Sabrina. They enjoyed their love and complemented each other. Everything went well until something dramatic happened towards the end. I must admit I was not ready for that twist. The suspense after the tragedy was killing me.

Not many authors can write how Elle St. John wrote. She is brilliant in her writing. Her plot, characters, the drama and every twist in the book was fun to read. Her characters were solid and her narration great. I recommend this book to everyone who loves romance novels.
