THE BIG BOPPER

The book is nothing short of interesting and exciting. Meet DB, a 5’4” man who goes through a few challenges to earn a name for himself. The story starts with DB being sent by Boss to Seattle. A branch office has been opened in Seattle and DB is  to be given some duties there.

I loved the introduction bit of ‘The Big Bopper”. The reader is familiarized with some of the characters, which is great because you get to have a glimpse of what you are about to read. The author wrote the story well, adding every element that would make the story thrilling. I loved chapters which had both mystery and action. The contrast between the two made the reading delightful.

I enjoyed DB’s story throughout the book. The author takes the reader through his mini struggles, his journey in Seattle, the strength he possess and his relationship with Boss. His character is quite the opposite of his stature. He has big dreams and does things that one would assume would overwhelm him. The concept of Hot Mama, the all-inclusive database where DB could hack into any system was genius.

 “The Big Bopper” has an exciting plot. I learned a lot about the company we keep, surviving in business, insurance cases and how fraud investigations are done. It is a great read and definitely deserves a 5/5 rating. I would love to read more of  Reb MacRath’s books as he is a talented author.
