The primary role of the government in any economy is to provide regulations and policies that can help bring about an environment that is devoid of anarchy. This is the main reasons why the United States is interested in the regulations of small business enterprises in the country. However, these regulations have led to some impacts that have affected the businesses either positively or negatively (Statisca, 2019). It is, therefore, the purpose of this research paper to discuss the impact of government regulations on small business enterprises. It will also be vital for the article to determine whether these impacts have had positive effects or negative effects on the business organizations in the country.

Purpose of the Study

The purpose of this study is to discuss the various methods the United States government uses to regulate small business organizations and the impacts of these regulations on the business entities. Some of the methods of regulations used include:

  • Taxation of all business entities in the country
  • Requiring businesses to meet specific criteria before being allowed to operate
  • All organizations should get licenses from various government agencies before being allowed to operate
  • Imposing labor laws that should be adhered by all small business organizations in the country
