The Wrap-up: Philosophy

I have had a chance to go through extensive learning of philosophy, and I have to say that it has changed how I view the subject. My philosophy has changed because I have been able to become open minded and assertive. Many philosophers became successful in the field because they were not scared to think and be perceptive about life principles. According to According to Savulescu (2015), philosophy and its technique to analyses and argue is essential in human progress. Just as the author holds, I have been able to become accepting and positive about different principles of life because philosophy has changed how I think and it has ultimately changed my philosophy. 

I have been influenced by the work of different philosophers throughout my journey of learning. Through the learning process, I was able to learn about different philosopher san dhow they contributed to the school of thought. I was able to read a book by Sigmund Freud, called Dream Psychology, and I knew that I could not live without psychology. According to Sigmund (1920), dreams have meaning based how human beings interpret them and how they decode them. Who would not wish to understand their dream? The contents of the book were educative and they changed how I viewed philosophy. 

Another significant reading that changed my perception of was the study on philosophy of social science, an excerpt by Alexander Rosenberg. According to Rosenberg (2018), philosophy is a significant part of human science, as it helps an individual explore the different problems and how their alternatives are found. These piece was enlightening because I realized that philosophy is not just about human relationship, but how a person can improve their bodily functions through philosophical aspects. Such readings played a significant role in helping me decide that philosophy was the way to go.
