Answer:

Identification Of Potential Risks, Both To The Agency And To Clients

  1. The example of the new product and service offered by Pan Pacific Australia are the steam rooms and tennis court for entertainment.
  • The resources or the key competencies which are required by the tourism company to build the steam houses and tennis court are the grass, clay and concrete in order to make the hard court, but the synthetic material which is can also be used to make the process easier. The steam room will require new small rooms and steam machines situated beside the washrooms.
  • The organization needs to push the DATA MANAGEMNET button in because this button consist of the primary and secondary data collection techniques, cleaning the data and storing the data which is required by the company to build the new model(Posthauer Banks & Schols 2015).
  1. The example of the company which is taken in the assignment is Pan Pacific Australia and its competitive advantage over other companies are the low cost living and entertainment to the tourists. It has its differentiated customer service technique. It has been the pioneer of technology, marketing campaigns, and use of artificial intelligence.
  • After analyzing the VRIN Model it can be said that the organization is using its resources in the most useful manner in order to stay in a competitive manner over its competitors. It is also planning to introduce the steam rooms and tennis court that is very rare in other organizations, therefore it very rare. As these things are very expensive the other organizations are unable to implement them in the business therefore it is non substitutable. Therefore it can be said that the organization does have a sustainable competitive advantage over other competitors(Zhang , Zhao & Huo 2019).
  1. The Pan Pacific Australia is the best example how it is making best decisions in order to stay competitive in the market. The organization is making various types of decisions to implement a new tennis court and steam rooms in it. This will be able to attract new customers.
  • The resources and core competencies which are forced on by the company are the natural resources such as land, green grass or clay and concrete required to make the tennis court. The organization is planning to build steam rooms which will be requiring a separate construction team who will plan and sketch out the whole process and complete the project work for the company within the stipulated period of time(Heazlewoodet al., 2016).
  • Yes I do think that the organization is developing a new core competency as because they are only one who have come up with the plan of developing steam room and tennis court in the industry.
  • Yes I think that it is a sustainable competitive advantage which is explained with the VRIN model below:

Valuable – The plan implemented is much valuable in the industry

Rare – It is rare as because it was not previously implemented by any other organization

Inimitable – It is very costly.

Exploitable  – As because it is a new plan initiated.
