What did you already know about yourself that showed up in your results?

Something that I already knew about myself that ended up showing up on my results is that I am best at jobs where their friendly, organized, and practical helping skills that are used within traditional settings. Basically, stating that I am personally involved in any job that I am working. Another thing listed that I already knew was that social occupations frequently involve working with, communicating with, and teaching people.

Based on the online assessment my personality type is ESFJ (Extraversion, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging) it states that ESFJs are usually traditional in their beliefs and get along easily with many groups. ESFJs are conscientious and cooperative, honestly concerned about others’ experiences and affairs. It states that ESFJs find careers in teaching, sales, management, caregiving, and personal services to be rewarding. My interests are social, which frequently involves working with, communicating with, and teaching people. Conventional which involves following set procedures and routines and finally enterprising which involves starting up and carrying out projects. Lastly, my values are support, relationships, and achievement.

Understanding more about myself can help in making decisions on my future career path because I can gain more knowledge of my skills and main focuses. It is always important to get a good understanding of what your own personal skills are.

Concierges, Customer Service Representative, Bartender Helper, Flight Attendant and First-Line Supervisors/Managers of Retail Sales Workers.

◦ Using the last four weeks of class discussing the discipline as support, how does the discipline, Political Science, fit into those potential occupational plans?

The knowledge gained fits into those potential occupational plans by giving me a clear understanding of political research. This knowledge can help with me understanding political events. Also, it will help with me collecting information to satisfy my political curiosity, facilitate my comprehension of public policy and governmental activity.
